We recently worked with UNICEF on a series of videos highlighting the Life Skills program – a collaborative effort between UNICEF and China’s Ministry of Education which aims to equip young people with essential skills such as self-awareness, emotional management, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving.
Project Description
The project has been one of the most challenging we’ve undertaken, due to the scope and sensitive nature of the Life Skills initiative; and incorporating creative input from multiple departments and stakeholders at UNICEF and the Ministry of Education, as well as the young people themselves, who were given a voice in the creative process.

The rewards far exceeded the challenges, as the vision behind the Life Skills program is groundbreaking for the Chinese education system. For previous generations, learning “soft skills” would have been unheard of within Chinese schools. The stories we produced will be shown to key policymakers and educators, potentially paving the way for wider adoption of the program across the country.
